Gadget of the Week - SmartDesk by Cemtrex

For those of us who feel like we just have
too many separate items on our desk and want to relieve that clutter in the most high-tech manner possible, SmartDesk by Cemtrex could be just the solution.

Cemtrex promises that “this advanced workstation combines and reimagines all the needs of the modern office in a beautiful, intuitive sit/stand desk”.

But what makes this desk stand out from all the rest? Far more than just a desk with a built-in computer and keyboard, the SmartDesk comes replete with features that make it worth a look.

For starters? It’s equipped with a Windows-PC that’s powered by the eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor. The screens themselves are something to marvel at, as well. Each SmartDesk will have three 24-inch IPS touchscreen displays. And what about motion control? Cemtrex uses a proprietary touch gesture system that allows users to flip through different web pages and documents with a simple wave aimed at the screen.

The look of the SmartDesk is as equally as enticing. It’s sleek and minimal but has all the functionality you could need in a desktop setup. Owners of a SmartDesk will be able to adjust the settings to “sit” or “stand,” whenever they want, depending on their personal preference.

Another plus? Accessibility and ease of set-up. You’ll be able to plug the SmartDesk into your outlet with just one wire. And because so many features are built in - such as the built-in scanner, located on the surface of the desk, and the included conference call pods replacing your desk phone - you won’t need to overwhelm your outlet space.

Cemtrex offers two payment options for the SmartDesk. You can pay the $3,999 upfront or select a monthly financing option of $175 over two years. If you’re eager to get your hands on a SmartDesk, you’ll have to reserve one and wait until October to receive it (production starts in September 2018).
